Q. When you’re at a networking event, how do you describe your independent career status, and where you focus your work?
I help mid-to-large companies across b2b and b2c verticals improve their bottom-line performance and drive margin growth by transforming their pricing and analytics operating model.

I use my diagnostics and questioning skills during conversations to really hone in on where and how my expertise can help my clients move forward. With so many reference points gained through delivering several client projects, I'm able to help my clients fully appreciate the value and impact of my experience.
Q. Why do you think there is increasing demand for independent expertise?
Well, there's no denying that independent expertise has always been around, but what's changed is the ever-increasing pool of independent expertise and the fact that it's now super easy (read as cheaper, flexible, etc.) for companies to access it – that's what's driving both the demand and supply side.
Q. Describe a recent or successful assignment in terms of scope, duration and any particular milestones in the results.
I recently took on an exciting project to lead a pricing and analytics transformation for a PE-backed tech company. This was no small task; they had already hired a consulting company to architect the strategy, but it ran over budget after months of data complexities. I was brought in to get the project back on track and rework the entire data and pricing architecture - the foundation for setting and executing the price strategy. Of course, it was never going to be a quick 3-month job, but rather a well-paced one-year programme with my involvement oscillating from full-on to part-time as we moved through the different phases. All in all, it was a great success!
Q. What's your favourite thing to do when you're not on the clock?
Sports are my real escape! From weekly Table Tennis league matches across North London, to friendly but competitive games of Tennis and Badminton, I love to stay active. Plus, a regular spa visit helps my poor battered knees and lower back recover!
