Bloomberg L.P. was founded by Michael Bloomberg in 1981 and is a financial news and media company currently serving over 325,000 global subscriptions. Boasting global circulation figures of 980,000 in 150 countries, Bloomberg is one of the world’s largest financial and media news organisations. Although employing 19,000 employees globally, Bloomberg are no stranger to contingent recruitment and have been known to recruit contingent workers within the marketing, development and media industries on a regular basis.
Expedia Inc. is an US online travel company originally launched in 1996. Expedia owns and operates several international online travel brands such as Hotels.com, trivago and TripAdvisor.
With a global presence of over 200 travel booking sites, Expedia employ over 20,000 employees in more than 30 countries around the globe – however, they too are not averse to using an on demand talent pool, and, according to a number of online recruitment marketplaces, regularly recruit for positions within Business Development, Market Analysis and their Technology functions.
