Background & Objectives
Following a recent acquisition into the UK group of companies, Global University Systems (GUS) entered into a Strategic Options Review (SOR) of all of its UK businesses, assisted by external expert advisors from Higher Education and the regulatory environment.
The SOR considered the optimal structure for the combined UK Group and examined if existing group of UK entities might benefit from further development and refinement of their recent acquisition's proven approach to quality assurance, enhancement and the attainment of the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
This project focusses on transformation and change with the opportunity to work with key leaders and industry experts to change, develop and grow a sustainable growth platform in the UK. This role combines the duties of a COO with Programme Management in the private education industry
Develop, project manage and implement a UK shared service entity for all back office operations, phasing transfer of functions over a 12 month period
Identify opportunities to leverage cross-programme strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and/or to address organizational challenges.
Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performance operational management team with an emphasis on developing capacity in strategic analysis and planning, project management and budgetary control.
Experience of transformational change programmes in the UK education industry (vocational, further and higher education)
Experience of developing and project managing the implementation of shared service operations
