Background & Objectives

We have been approached by a clinet, one of the largest and most prestigious professional services firms in the world, as they are looking for a Financial Advisory Services Manager.

Key deliverables

As a Financial Advisory Services Manager you will:2-3 years of audit experience with a Big 4 firm plus 2-4 years experience in Transaction Services.  Alternatively, relevant corporate finance experience in a financial advisory firm or bank, in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modelling, re-structuring and raising debt or equity.Proven ability to write credible, succinct and insightful business reports and to deliver effective client presentations.Demonstrated ability to manage people and plan engagements, along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines.Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Credible and articulate to be able to present to senior executives.Motivated, dedicated, dynamic, flexible, output focused.Resilient with an attitude and ability to cope with tight deadlines, pressure and long hours when required.Willingness to travel frequently and deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.Fluent spoken and written English to a high business standard. Spoken and/or written Arabic will be viewed very positively.Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Exposure to financial services assignments from within a transaction or reorganisation advisory capacity will be highly regarded.An appreciation of working in the Gulf region and the way business is executed.Qualifications: 6+ years or more experience in financial consulting (Financial Advisory/ Corporate Finance) or Investment Banking/ Merchant Banking, preferably in Corporate Finance Department with experience in areas such as business valuations, mergers & acquisitions, due diligence, financial modeling and re-structuring, raising debt or equity. Demonstrated ability to manage people and plan components of engagements along with ensuring deliverables meet work plan specifications and deadlines. Recognized accounting qualification ACA preferred - otherwise MBA or equivalent, with emphasis on finance/financial planning or investment analysis.  Strong Interpersonal & Communication skills. Motivated, dedicated, dynamic & hard worker. Advanced level of technical proficiency and computer literacy particularly with spreadsheets (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Bilinguals (Arabic & English) preferred.
