Objectives and Key Deliverables

We have been invited to a RfP process by a German insurance company tendering a project to optimize the IT Demand Management and IT Portfolio Management processes and interfaces between the functional departments (divisions) and the captive IT service provider.

The project shall review the existing structures, analyse them for weaknesses and areas of improvement, develop a blue print, implement the required structure, processes and tools, and ensure a sustainable establishment of the new structure by temporarily assuming interim management roles.

The consultant shall have several years of hands-on expertise with IT Demand management and IT portfolio management based on former line management responsibility within a functional division of an insurance company, ideally as head of IT Demand Management. This expertise shall be complemented with several years of consulting experience and a good understanding of change management processes.
