Background & Objectives

Our client is a large media organisation who is looking for some competitor intelligence on 10 selected companies.  They need a consultant with experience of desk research to answer select key questions on these organisation.The areas to be studied are: 
Company information/profile
- key company info e.g. financial info/date of
creation/owner/founder/shareholder etc
Organisation structure
- Number of employees/ depts/ regionalisation/number of buildings
etc 
Measures of success – what
do they measure their success by and how are they performing
(revenue/profit/shareability of content/number of customers) What’s their
balanced scorecard?
For key measures - can we
get a like for like comparison e.g. revenue, number of customers,
NPS, 
Profile of their customers
Business goal
and Business strategy
Marketing strategy
including brand positioning and marketing spend breakdown
The report will need to be delivered by 24th April and will be part of a scenario planning exercise so some experience of that will be beneficial.The project can be undertaken remotely and the final deliverable will be a written report.
