Background & Objectives
We are a luxury retailer and wholesaler of handmade rugs and accessories. The company has grown organically from a single outlet in 1997 to a over 20 outlets.
The core bespoke system was first implemented over 10 years ago and handles inventory management, sales and invoicing. It is no longer suitable for our size of business and growth plans.
Recent investment requires an accelerated growth plan, which in turn requires investment in and overhaul of underlying infrastructure and systems.
We require support from someone that is experienced with all aspects of requirements analysis to vendor selection to help us in transitioning to more scalable infrastructure.
Work with relevant stakeholders to review and document the "As-is" business processes.
Develop a "to-be" model in collaboration with stakeholders that supports our growth strategy.
Document the system requirements of the new solution.
Review market offerings and conduct a tendering exercise leading to fully costed recommendations.
Possibility of extending the support throughout the entire system implementation lifecycle.
Experience in analysing and recommending new ERP systems is vital
Experience in process modelling, requirements analysis, and tender (to view to set up a new ERP) is required
Management consultancy or Business Analyst background considered ideal.
Experience of the luxury retail industry preferred.
