Objectives and Key Deliverables

Overall Role Purpose:·        
This role leads the development of mobilisation
and transformation of major programmes. ·        
The business now operates at a scale and with a
portfolio of major project mobilisation and transformation programmes to
justify a permanent leader accountable for assuring high quality programme
delivery from inception to steady state operations. ·        
In addition to mobilising major programmes the
postholder will be the accountable lead for product and service delivery
innovation, acting as subject matter lead and first point of accountability to
ensure the continuous improvement operating architecture and service
propositions. ·        
This is a -wide role where the responsibilities
across different products and contracts will change over time. ·        
Initially this role is expected to be 100%
focussed on the implementation of programme extensions.Main responsibilities Markets ·        
Is aware of the wide range of the firm's
services and spots opportunities to sell those services to clients; ·        
Contributes to the development of the firm's
market knowledge and is an 'ambassador' of the firm; ·        
Establishes and maintains effective relations
with the key stakeholders to promote services;·        
Leads on the programme management of new bids.Clients:·        
Works with key clients at to obtain an in depth
understanding and insight into their policy drivers and develops the service
offerings to align to these strategies; ·        
Acts as the focal point for the contract
extension transition plan, overseeing the governance and implementation of a
major transition process. People :·        
Builds a high performing transition team for,
drawing on existing internal and partner resources supplemented by additional
external resources as required to achieve programme objectives; ·        
Leads the development of a strategy and
mobilisation team within the delivery operation;·        
Interfaces with other business functions to
achieve successful mobilisation and transformation.Operations and results :·        
Accountable for creation of and delivery against
contract extension transition plan and successful delivery of all work streams
to ensure a successful launch; ·        
Delivers accurate cost, expenditure and budget
forecasts and other related Management Information as required by management
for all relevant mobilisation priorities; ·        
Provides activity, impact and performance
reports to the Operations Director and the management group as required; ·        
Acts as the interface on all transition issues;



















































Works with the other senior managers to ensure
smooth handover of mobilisation and transition priority projects to steady
state operational leadership. Education:·        
Education/qualifications Educated to degree
level (or equivalent) with relevant professional capabilities in areas relevant
·        
Masters degree in relevant discipline Experience
:·        
Demonstrable experience of operational/project
management, including excellent people management skills and an ability to lead
and motivate staff within a business services or analogous environment. ·        
Experience of delivering public sector funded
programmes. ·        
Significant senior operational experience in a
business services or similarly complex commercial environment with experience
of delivering complex change management projects.·        
Experience of working in a senior client facing
role within the professional services or consulting sectors. ·        
Excellent communication and influencing skills
with experience of building effective relationships .

Experience of leading the delivery of major
change programmes or mobilisation of new programmes.
