Background & Objectives

The RoleThe Customer Implementation Team, within the Operations Department, is core to the business and a key element of our success. Our small but growing team is responsible for leading client implementations an platform/product development initiatives to provide the innovative solutions demanded by our clients, while ensuring we deliver to the demanding SLA’s. A key requirement of the team as a whole is to be business focused, flexible and capable of meeting the demands of a fast moving industry and business.We are now looking for an experienced and ambitious Head of Implementation to lead a number of large scale and critical client projects.

Key deliverables

The RequirementsThe successful candidate will be a self-starter with a proven history of delivering successful projects.The key requirement is a can-do attitude, ensuring a high quality of work commensurate with the high availability nature of the business, and a keen interest in learning new technologies and quickly mastering them. Minimum Qualifications / Experience:-          Minimum of 6 years of Project Management experience, preferably within the payments industry.-          Extensive track-record of successful delivery of critical projects either within application/system integration space or new application/platform deployments.-          Extensive experience in sub-contractor/delivery partner management.-          Demonstrable experience in the management of multi-location and multi-national teams.-          Demonstrable awareness of the key components and parties involved in the payments industry.-          Formal Project Management or Programme Management training and certification (e.g. PRINCE2).The role may also include some national and international travel so it will be necessary for the successful candidate to be willing and flexible to meet these requirements.Our client would be interested to also speak with any candidates from professional services that are interested in a change and would now consider entering industry - thus any senior PM's or Head of Implementation with experience from KPMG/ Deloitte  would be highly desirable
