Our client is a private equity firm focused on emerging markets. The client owns a consumer goods business in central Europe. The business has been turned around in terms of distribution, marketing, operations. Yet it still needs more time to reach it's full potential. However, the lifecycle of the fund related to the business is not attuned to the lifecycle of the economy. Therefore, the client would like to release the business from it's current fund, and enter it into a new fund.
