Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are conducting research on the use of digital wedding directories in five overseas markets.
We are looking for a consultant to approach vendors who use these directories and interview them using a framework we will provide.
The five markets we are interested in are France, Italy, Brazil, Spain and Portugal.
We have allocated 1.5 days per market for this work.
In order to conduct the interviews, the analyst/researcher would need to be fluent in one more of French, Italian, Spanish or Portuguese. We recognise it's unlikely we will find someone who can speak all these languages so this project can be broken up among more than one consultant. We would be pleased to hear from candidates who can speak any of the languages listed.
Typically digital wedding marketplaces work by connecting couples with vendors (venues, photographers, florists etc) through a searchable directory. These directories are normally free for couples to use while vendors pay an annual subscription for their presence on the site and to receive leads from couples. The value of the subscription is normally judged by the volume and quality of the leads generated, which, in turn, dictate the price the directory can charge.
We are looking to understand the value that wedding vendors place on these websites/apps, how they rate the service they provide and the factors at play in determining how many or which directory to use.
Feedback from the interviews could be provided as short summaries and bullet points.
The deadline for completing interviews would be 20th July.
