Background & Objectives

A leading construction and utilities company is looking to hire a project manager for a live project and its ongoing project management.The consultant must have the following:Strong QS skillsStrong Programming skills with experience in Microsoft Project Management or software like PrimaveraProject management qualifications like Prince 2 would be neededGood Contract experience especially within PFI scenariosAn ethical approach with excellent team leadership skillsExperience with capital expenditureThe role would start as a 6 month engagement.

Key deliverables

Ideal experience would come from companies like Amia, Carillion, Kier Group, Skanska or Costain.Estimators or Designers should not apply.A min of 5 years experience would be necessary.Experience in street lights would be ideal although any wider experience in infrastructure bids and project management would be great.Circa £200 - £300 per day
