Objectives and Key Deliverables
The client (an online eye wear retailer) is looking for a consultant to carry out some desktop market research into the market for specialist eye wear designed to reduce the effects of “digital eye strain” i.e. looking at computers and TV screens too much. They are also interested in headsets used by gamers to enhance the gaming experience.
A large segment of the target customer base are esports fans / video gamers / online gamers.
They want to find out more about this space (practical accessories for gamers), the main players within it, the size of the target market, the growth trajectory and the pros and cons etc.
2 - 3 days worth of desktop market research followed by the submission of a report and then a discussion on the findings.
They are looking for someone with very strong analytical skills and financial forecasting experience, that has some experience within this space and can do some desktop research and summarise their findings fairly quickly.
Experience in the eyewear, and ideally gaming accessories space would be desired.
