Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a food manufacturer located in West London. We have circa. 80 employees and are part of a larger group of bakeries.
We are currently experiencing an increase in our labour cost.
Although we understand the underlying factors behind that increase, we want to dig deeper and implement an actionable plan to maintain labour costs under control.
The project will involve understanding how we plan production, how we organise our rotas and how we historically used labour (agency staff vs permanent, skilled vs less skilled staff) in order to provide recommendations to keep labour costs under control.
This will involve sitting down with various stakeholders of our production process.
Project would start with 0.5 days scoping and minimum 4 days on-site. Given the financial impact a good consultant could have, our client id also willing to speak about a success fee paid after 3 months.
Working with the client to produce a report on current labour usage and optimal future state.
Experience of production planning process (food manufacturing preferable but not essential)
Experience in identifying operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks (please describe previous projects in your application)
Experience of labour analysis
Experience producing PowerPoint presentation to report findings
