Background & Objectives

We have recently been approached by our client a technology services company. They are looking for an IT Service Development Manager.In undertaking this role, you will be responsible for:Developing our IT Service Management strategy across Technology SolutionsThe continuous assessment of our customers IT business and service needs analysis, ensuring that our service offerings align with market and customer requirements Working with Procurement to develop a partner strategy for IT services to enhance telents products and servicesDeveloping a business case and implementation plan for ITILV3 Service Management and/or ISO 20000 certification Acting as the subject matter lead on major IT service outsource opportunitiesWorking with our Service Design, Engineering, and Operations leads to scale the Technology Solutions to meet future growth requirements in areas such as; desktop applications, IT Service Desk, IT security, device management, SAN and cloud services, and IT infrastructure.Business Operations Skills – Experience:Experience in working in an IT Service Management environmentInvolved in the delivering of complex IT projects or services contracts (above £2m p.a)Experience of implementing ITIL and the adaptation of business processes for ISO 20000Experience of setting up complex IT services such as Service Desk, Desktop services, storage networks, application services, or unified communications systemExcellent understanding of IT service delivery in the context of business processes and workflows within large organisationsVaried experience across different customer environments, locations, and budgetary constraintsDemonstrable experience of IT service line development and productisation into Service Operation
