Background & Objectives
We are half way through a substantial investment programme. That investment will deliver re-imaging and re-conception of the restaurant business, with new menus and kitchens which will rejuvenate the restaurant in the marketplace.
The Investment Appraisal Analyst will provide financial analysis on the growth prospects, investment potential, and return on investment of stores across the UK.
The role will involve three key stages of activity:
Analysing the dynamics and characteristics of the store in its market environment. This would include making decisions on growth potential and therefore rationale to invest or divest in the store.
Preparing business cases for store investment to be presented to the board. This will include correct preparation of relevant cash flows and returns metrics. As well as liaising across a number of internal stakeholders – estates, marketing etc.
Reviewing the success of investment and measuring metrics such as returns in volume of traffic into the store, spend of customer to the store, and reporting this information to the board
In addition programme management is required to present progress, achievements of milestones and KPIs throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Excellent academic pedigree, with MBA or qualified accountancy beneficial
Specific in-depth and hands-on knowledge and experience in financial analysis
