Background & Objectives
This is an exceptional opportunity to join one of the world's leading restaurant chains.The business is about to embark on a substantial investment program across 250 restaurants in the UK.
That investment largely delivers re-imaging and
re-concepting of the restaurant, with new menu and kitchen which re-juventate
the restaurant in the marketplace.
The client would like to hire two Investment Appraisal Analysts to work for 2-3 years on the project. This would include three stages of activity for any site.
Step 1- Analysis to understand the dynamics and
characteristics of the store in it's market environment. This would include making decisions on growth potential and therefore rationale to invest in the store.
Step 2 – Prepare business case for the investment in that
store to be presented to the board. This will include correct
preparation of relevant cash flows and returns metrics. As well as liaising across a
number of internal stakeholders – estates, marketing etc.
Step 3 – Review success of investment, understand
what is spent and measure returns in volume of traffic into the store, spend of
customer to the store, operational and reporting back to the board.

Past experiencePlease apply if your background matches either of these profiles: 1) Tier 1 consultant - (ex-McKinsey, BCG, BAIN, Booz) 2) Big 4 accountant - (ex-PWC, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte 3) Retail finance professional - background in leisure, retail or hospitality, multi-site leisure of hospitality. In addition, excellent academics and broad financials, rigor of analysis, the technical ability, discipline to delivery to a set deadline. Strong analytical capability, how we work disciplines, and ability to forge constructive partnerships across functional teams. The individual will work with people not strong with numbers and need ability to approach this with supportive mindset and approach.
