Background & Objectives

We are considering international expansion beyond our core markets (UK, US), and would like help identifying which markets we should be targeting and entry strategy for each market.

Key deliverables

We are looking for a presentation and any relevant analysis in Excel outlining the following:

1) Prioritization of markets we should enter
2) Size of each market opportunity
3) Competitive landscape
4) Operating hurdles (duties, logistics, legal hurdles, etc.)
5) Entry strategy: assortment and brand / retailer partnerships (entry with brands we already carry vs. acquiring new brand relationships on the ground), marketing (localisation, local paid marketing), team structure, any changes we need to contemplate for our product to operate in each market

We are particularly focused on the following markets:
- English-speaking markets apart from UK / US
- European markets
- China
- Japan

Consultant requirements

- Experience in e-commerce (fashion e-commerce preferred)
- Experience researching international expansion initiatives
