Objectives and Key Deliverables

We recently acquired a European business which includes a distinct German operation with around £10m of revenue. Currently the business lacks a formal financial function to report back financials to the central UK business (who then reports back to the US public company). As a result, we need a financial controller to join the business to utilise the current systems and run the reporting for us.

Utilise the current systems to ensure that the financial reporting is accurate.
Formalize the financial function in the company on-site which is currently being handled remotely from the UK branch of the business.

Experience financial reporting in Germany, preferably with experience handling manufacturing inventory reporting. We are flexible on amount of experience and are open in the 6-15 year mark. This business is located in Germany between Zurich and Munich so someone based around there would be ideal. Controlling experience in a PE-owned business preferred. The project is likely to start as a 6 month contract and open to someone staying on permanently.
