Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a leading VC firm based in Germany. We strive to work closely with our portfolios and offer them help and guidance during their rapid growth phase. Our operational team has hands on company-building backgrounds in markets and industries that are characterized by high growth and technological innovation.
Currently we are seeking support for one of our investments. The company that we invested in has grown organically over the course of the last 7 years succeeding in becoming a major player in a niche market, offering a wide range of products to their target group ranging from fashion, books and accessories as well as furniture, household appliances and other complementing segments.
The company currently faces a challenge of achieving a steady positive contribution margins on a monthly basis in order to become profitable, while being able to cope with working capital intense day to day business, hence we are seeking the support of an
INTERIM CHIEF RESTRUCTURING OFFICER
To achieve profitability, we require hands-on, experienced leadership. We are looking for a seasoned professional that will be able to initiate and implement improvement and restructuring plans, while reporting to a company’s board of directors and working closely with stakeholders across the entire company. We see it as vital that the Interim CRO transfers know-how to key employees and helps search for permanent candidates in a smooth transition in order to build lasting success and prepare the company for a potential exit by the current stakeholders.
We prefer candidates from an entrepreneurial and/or top tier management consulting background who have led companies through difficult phases and executed turn around projects, including all aspects of restructuring. Strong benefit will be having made this experience in the e-commerce sector.
We are looking for someone to step in asap and we estimate the first 3 months to require full attention, i.e. full time. The subsequent 3 months might only require 2-3 days per week and a further extension is depending on the performance of the interim manager and the company.
