Objectives and Key Deliverables
We wish to respond to the two political and independent branches of state government that fund the courts and their demand for greater efficiency in our state-wide and locally sited, some very rural, operations. In doing so we must continue to meet legal and constitutional imperatives in family court child abuse dockets, and others where we have seen a dramatic increase in cases related to heroin abuse, while we remain within funding limits and responsive to local culture.
A plan for improvements to and to coalesce support for change to court structures intended to improve branch independence, operational stability and flexibility allocating limited resources. The plan will account for the interests of those who work within our branch, and also the multiple independent partners working in the courts who are in the private sector or are separately funded outside our budget.
Experience with government funding and planning.
