Objectives and Key Deliverables

One of the most successful startups in SEA is looking for a Head of International Expansion.

As our Head of International Expansion, you will apply your experience in deal-making, partnerships, regulatory affairs, and strategic planning to be the architect of our expansion beyond Singapore.

By developing our pipeline of target markets, building strategic relationships, conceptualising product propositions, entry models, and launch plans; your work will transform the way millions of people in Asia experience mobile services.

Key Responsibilities:
Creating & evaluating new internationalisation options
● Initiate and drive CXO and Board level negotiations that win telcos over as strategic partners
● Engage with senior regulators to ensure successful market entry and secure our right to operate
● Nurture positive and sustainable relationships with our telco partners
● Build relationships with local business leaders and potential board members to create local-level boards
● Craft ideal product concepts and entry models to crack open new markets
Planning & executing market launches
● Create initial launch plans, product roadmaps, and operations flows for selected markets
● Personally supervise the establishment of local offices and processes
Optimising international operations
● Collaborate with internal & external stakeholders to resolve commercial, technical, and operational issues
● Develop new frameworks to evaluate and monitor partners’ performance
● Oversee change management processes
The Ideal Candidate
● Experienced in developing and expanding new businesses in the international / regional market
● Adept at influencing and negotiating with CXO and board level leaders across the public and private sector
● Displays high-level strategic thinking and analytical acumen, as well as hands-on ownership
● Successful track record of project management and change management
● Familiar with regulatory and competitive environments in Asia Pacific
● Strong at developing sustainable stakeholder relationships for the long-term
● Capable of rapidly establishing effective teams in new markets
● Proficient in cross-cultural communication and leadership
● Able to prioritise and re-prioritize quickly and effectively
● Willing and able to travel internationally on short notice
