Objectives and Key Deliverables

Our client is looking for a Sales Manager to work as a key member of sales team responsible for supporting existing and growing new business with the ultimate aim of delivering the sales plan revenue.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:-Responsible for developing and delivering the sales plan and activity for the assigned market.-Develops and implements sales strategies for a specified geographic area or product line.-Assists with the development of short and long range sales goals.-Interfaces across the internal organization.-Maintains and services assigned customer accounts.-Handles special projects as assigned.-Expands the customer base, directly and through other sales staff as applicable.-Responsible for technical leadership and support.JOB CONTEXT, MAIN ACTIVITIES AND SCOPE-Business activities are predominately UK, Europe and Africa but will likely expand.-Prospects all sources (e.g. press, internet) for new client leads, and competitor activity.-Visits existing clients regularly, which may require international travel.-Records client visits, sales performance and planned activity weekly.-Organization and execution of high level presentations, proposals, and tenders.-Provides operation support to client (e.g. Turbo tool operational guidelines).-Maintain professional and accurate records as per company policy (e.g. CRM database, run records)-Maintain customer feedback through FPALREQUIREMENTS:-Bachelor's degree in engineering.-Minimum 4 years rig site experience.-Proven and successful record with new business development in previous assignments.-A high effective communicator with proven presentation skills and able to influence at the highest levels.-Knowledge of both drilling and completions equipment an advantage.-Global industry network.-Willing to travel internationally.-able to work to tight deadlines and to budget.-Market analysis and intelligence gathering.-Training and development of team-Provides interface between client operations and engineering as required.The candidate can be based anywhere in Asia Pacific.
