Objectives and Key Deliverables

Our Client is a global strategy consulting
firm with offices in London, New York, Frankfurt and Paris, with additional
research resources in Brazil and China. They help businesses and financial
investors with their most pressing commercial decisions, such as corporate
strategy development and the evaluation of acquisition targets. The key sectors they focus on include B2B media and information, exhibitions and events, and
industrial products. Our Client values clarity of thinking, detailed
analysis, high quality primary research and most importantly insight into
market strategy and acquisitions. 

Our Clients offices in FRANKFURT or
LONDON OFFICE are currently recruiting for the position of

 Project Manager (m/w)

 Role

 Manage client projects, including
driving the problem solving process, managing the client and our Clients team,
and delivering end-product reports and presentations.

 Key Accountabilities

 ·        
Produce
a virtually comprehensive issue analysis·        
Project
planning

Ø  Define team staffing

Ø  Conduct research work

Ø  Manage project work (milestones,
meetings etc.)

 ·        
Manage
the team

Ø  Drive problem solving process

Ø  Delegate work stream to team members

Ø  Control completion of work streams

Ø  Coach and develop team members

 ·        
Manage
the client relationship

Ø  Discuss key issues with the client

Ø  Define project scope

Ø  Manage client expectations

 

·        
Report
writing and presentation of findings to the client, banks etc

 ·        
Business
development

Ø  Support Directors with overall
business development

Ø  Acquire follow-up project work from
existing clients

Ø  Write draft proposals and cost
calculations

 

·        
Contribute
to the overall development of our Client including development of our intellectual
capital in the form of white papers, articles and reports

Key Skills & Qualification

 ·         Strong academic background, preferably
in business sciences or economics (MBA preferred)

·         4-6+ years
work experience

·         Minimum two
years experience in strategic analysis (incl. market, competitor and customer
analysis), preferably acquired through assignments at a strategy consulting
firm

·         Two years
exposure to Media and Information markets

·         Very good
commercial understanding

·         Experience
in project management

·         Strong
command of MS Excel and PowerPoint

·        
Results-oriented and independent worker

·         Highly
flexible and able to work under pressure

·         Strong team
player

Remuneration (€): Very competitive; dependent upon
experience
