Background & Objectives

Our client is looking for highly commercial Client Managers to grow existing accounts and to generate new business through relentless drive and tenacity.What you will be doing:- Expand client's warm accounts with FTSE 100 companies (and global equivalent) by on-selling, up-selling and even down-selling- Generate new leads drawing on the client's database of warm and contacts and your own professional network- Become an expert in all things people (performance management, management development etc.), presenting and pitching client's point of view so that it provokes and and excites- Understand where the value is created in your accounts and equip your clients to build consensus with the people in their business who count- Lead senior executives through the commercial process to build consensus that leads to action- Close deals from £10k to £500k with an average sales cycle of 3 to 6 monthsAbout you:- Excellent academic credentials-at least a university degree with a 2:1 and excellent A levels- 3+ years consultative sales of an "intellectual" B2B service, securing new business and growing existing accounts (the client will be keen to learn your performance against targets)- Passionate about what drives human performance at work. You've almost certainly read a few books and watched a few TED talks from the likes of Gladwell, Pink, Ariely et al.- Masterful at managing your time, deeply organised and have the drive to build your part of the business semi-autonomously - A high flyer wherever you've been, with plenty of personal stories to prove the pointThe salary range for Client Manager is between £40-60k. OTE is double base so if you're at £60k and hit all your targets total OTE is £120k.
