Background & Objectives
One of our private equity clients is looking at an acquisition of a large speciality pharmaceuticals business and may want support with a "full potential" programme to improve profitability and cash.
The ideal consultant will have performed several similar projects in speciality pharmaceuticals or generics market before; commercial experience, P&L and pharmaceuticals distribution knowledge are part of this consultant's background. The operational and logistics comprehension of this niche market is key.
The business operates in over 20 countries worldwide - so international experience will be important (China, Italy and Spain preferred; strong experience in the mainland Europe AND in the UK will also be considered).
The project is contingent upon deal signature - which is expected to happen early August. The specific location will be disclosed upon deal signature.
Deadline to receive proposals by July 27th.
We are looking to make a decision by August 4th.
Consultant will work as an integral part of our project team and with direct access to the management of the target business.
Deliverables will be a plan which reviews the current business and cost structure, performance improvement opportunities (with quantified savings potential) and implementation timeline.
operational or advisory experience in the Speciality Pharmaceuticals sector;
industry expertise in speciality pharmaceuticals or generics (e.g. sales, line manager, distribution, supply chain) rather than consulting experience is preferred.
