Objectives and Key Deliverables

FREELANCE EDITOR / CONTENT DIRECTOR: B2B CONTENT MARKETING

We are looking for a freelance editor/content director who has several years’ experience in the field of B2B content marketing, ideally in the professional services, technology and telecommunications sectors.

You will:
• Apply a blend of editorial and content marketing expertise to develop an appropriate roadmap and content strategy, which will focus on B2B lead generation, acquisition, retention and management.
• Partner closely with our client’s sales team to drive in-market awareness, out-bound lead generation, conversion and retention.
• Develop content that arms our client’s sales team with knowledge and insight, enabling the sales team to establish relationships with their customer base early in the buying cycle.
• Provide strategic guidance at the earliest stages of our client’s lead generation programme engagements, using data- driven insights from Telescope—our proprietary data discovery tool—to align content deliverables and brand messaging with our client’s objectives.
• Oversee the development of multiple activations, including white papers, workshops, blog posts, long form articles, infographics, videos and social media content, and more.
• Work with internal project management, data intelligence, social media marketing, research design and digital production teams to ensure that our client’s needs are met
• Have an understanding and experience of the content strategy toolkit, including personas, gap analysis, competitive analysis, content audits, quantitative analysis, keyword research and social listening.
