Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are looking for someone to manage a large team, source opportunities and have a nose for deals. This person must have a very well established network, come highly regarded and have access to an abundant amount of off market opportunities. The person should not only be able to run a team of 12, but that excludes management and development and credit, where there will be separate teams and should be able to understand all different types of real estate structuring and structures, modeling, and forecasting.
This is an interim to perm position, and if offered full time would be asked to hire VPs for Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Industrial, Land, NNN Lease/Ground Lease, Hospitality & Specialty and for underwriting. This person should be able to manage the team sourcing opportunities across the Americas. An extremely well established track record of success, completion of value add and opportunistic projects that range from simple value add to complete rezoning, re-model and alternative uses subject to macro, demographic, structural and other information. Must be able to work in joint ventures, travel and form strategic partnerships. Most be able to manage well, work with large scale project managers. Will have full time sourcing consultants, however must be able to quickly assess an opportunity and understand if there is a possibility. Also must be able to assess the value add potential of LEED/solar and tax equity.
Position is based in New York City. Work visa and relocation expenses will not be provided.
