Background & Objectives
We have recently purchased a commercial property that we will be converting into a gym. The building needs adapting for a gym, as well as layout design and equipment sourcing.
This is very much a project management and operational project, rather than a strategy role.
The project will entail doing some market research to assess what the current local market is like in order to position the gym appropriately. From there, the consultant will advise us on what in the building needs adapting and how the gym should be laid out (e.g. Where and how big is the cardio theatre? What should the showers/change rooms be like? Is a women's only area required? Where are the weights going?). The consultant then will source equipment and services for the gym.
Finally, they will support the recruitment of staff to this new gym.
The project is roughly split into four parts:
>Design gym/fitness centre layout
>Source equipment and services
>Experience in setting up a gym/fitness centre
>Go getter attitude and enthusiasm to get things done
>Experience managing multiple priorities at once
We already have the building and are looking to kick this off as soon as possible.
