Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a global provider of business improvement solutions, operating across 30 countries in 3 regions: Americas, EMEA & APAC.
We are looking for a post-acquisition Business Integration Project Manager to lead the integration of a newly acquired company in San Jose, California, including technology, operations, functional, location and people integration. The acquired business has a headcount of approx. 30 people with one head office and a number of remote workers.
The successful candidate will project manage the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of the project, reporting to the Director of Programme & Change Management and a local Business Integration Lead.
Using the company’s project management methodology, you will work closely with sponsors, change managers, business teams, IT, internal project work streams and HR colleagues. You will also be responsible for the day-to-day direction of the matrix project team based in US and other global locations.
The ideal candidate is a Business Change Project Manager (rather than IT or technical based PM), with experience of integrating acquired businesses in post-merger environments.
You should be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team and coordinate effectively internal resources and third parties across multiple locations to get the job done. You will be culturally aware to the sensitivities of working in an acquired business, with excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
The role is for 6 months with a possibility of extending.
You would be based onsite in San Jose, California.
