Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are one of Australia's most iconic fashion brands with strong international footprint and an omni-channel distribution network. Our company is doubling in size over a period of 4 years thanks to acquisitions and organic expansions, and we are working on opening our first pop up store in China in May 2018.
We are looking for someone with logistical experience in opening an international brand in the Chinese market. We are focused on a proven track record; someone that has rolled out a well known brand like Nike in China who can share their learnings will be ideal.
The first role would be to start looking for a suitable pop up or short term lease site in a premium well trafficked mall for our brand in Shanghai.
The candidate needs to be well versed in operational set up of a new business in retail – working across operations, staffing (hire, payroll and workers comp) , financial set up with regards to POS (Unionpay, Visa etc).
This person has to be multi-lingual, happy to work to a tight deadline and have a sense of urgency and be goal oriented.
This is a one off roll but potentially this might become a longer strategy if we are successful with the pop up space.
Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
