Background & Objectives:
We are the leading global professional services firm focused exclusively on payments and provides payments consulting, information, analytics, and customized services to financial institutions and their merchant partners worldwide. Addressing complex challenges in strategy, marketing, risk, and operations, we help clients maximize the value of their payments businesses.
This consultant will work in Managed Services, the global business unit responsible for delivering marketing consulting capabilities for the advisory firm customer verticals: financial institutions, governments, retailers and e-commerce.
*The consultant is expected to be based in the issuer bank's office and it to start as soon as possible. The duration is 4 months with a high possibility to extend for 8 months afterwards.
*Please note that T&Es can be covered within Australia only if required, according to the consultant's profile/seniority, to be agreed in following conversations.
The project will be 30% consultancy and 70% execution - therefore the experience in multiple scenarios within Marketing (in FSI) is required.
¬ Strategize and execute a 12-month calendar of marketing strategies and programs with a leading issuer bank in Australia. The initiatives include:
-The individual must have good knowledge of analytics and data, interpreting and analyzing them and following through with designing relevant direct marketing initiatives and engagement, to achieve planned targets
-She/he is equally competent in strategic marketing as well as data analysis and analytics, with knowledge and hands on experience and know-how in pulling and analyzing data, work with customer data structures, data mining and visualization/exploration, advance excel, etc
-Portfolio management and marketing initiatives
-Customer journey mapping and communications
-Customer acquisition strategies
-Retention and loyalty marketing strategies
-Digital marketing initiatives
-Campaign design management and execution
-Determine success measures, track and perform post campaign analysis and reporting
¬ Deliver impactful solutions and engagements with multiple key stakeholders from our firm and the bank.
¬ Very well versed with the Australian payments market and media scene which includes on and offline channels so he/she is able to propose and implement highly successful integrated, digital, ATL and BTL marketing campaigns
¬ Highly analytical and results oriented; with adept ability to interpret internal and external data and insights to provide effective marketing recommendations and follow through the projects with immaculate and timely and hands-on execution.
¬ Expert in portfolio management and marketing strategies and programs and this includes, understanding analytics and data, design and implement roadmaps and programs with the most impactful results.
¬ Strong digital and social media knowledge and has managed major campaigns end-to-end. These should include: acquisition, contactless, spend, loyalty and brand initiatives,
¬ Experienced in managing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives independently whilst having the ability to collaborate successfully with multiple stakeholders from our firm, the issuer bank and external partners and agencies.
¬ Ability to manage the issuer bank’s various processes and overall marketing processes end to end.
¬ Strong budget and P&L management with accurate and regular reporting.
Must have at least 12 years of related experience at a large issuing bank in Australia and/or 5 years in an association in a similar capacity
♣ Must be a visionary and practical marketing professional who is able to successfully strategize and execute at the same time
♣ In-depth knowledge of the payments business
♣ Credit cards experience is a must
♣ Digital marketing knowledge and experience is a must
♣ Exceptional stakeholder management skills across disciplines and seniority levels
♣ Well-versed in marketing and core banking processes
