Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a private equity backed manufacturer seeking a program management resource to manage the launch of new products with new production lines.
This would involve coordinating international capital equipment manufacturers, mostly in Europe, setting up the line, hiring/training employees, qualifying the line (PPAP) with customers and suppliers, ultimately transitioning a fully qualified and operating line from the engineering to manufacturing.
We need someone who can manage a multi-functional team (engineering, quality, manufacturing ect.) and lead by influence and example in order to get everyone to finish line on time and on budget. We are after someone with a strong track record of successfully managing projects and rolling up their sleeves.
The projects are located in Columbus, OH and Knoxville, TN. Someone who lives in the midwest region would be ideal but not required.
6-12 months duration, could lead to a permanent role managing capital projects if desired and if mutually good fit.
Candidates should have:
-BS in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
- Experience managing multi-functional/multi-disciplinary capital projects (e.g. program/launch manager from the Tier 1 or 2 automotive industry)
- Experience with the PPAP process
