Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a purchasing consultancy that optimizes procurement and production costs from SME’s.

On one of our projects we are looking for support.

Project Description & Consultant Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all different processes and schedules of our client are closely tracked to achieve "efficient results" (taking into account available resources). The decisive factors are: on time, cost and quality production, delivery, installation and acceptance of the system
- Coordinate setup of reporting systems to ensure the documentation is accurate and on time
- Create appropriate plans (daily / weekly) and ensure that the data is stored in the system (here: proALPHA)
- Communicate with customers or the sales department and the internal demand carriers, if demand or customer requirements vary greatly (deadline, costs, quality)
- take into account inaccuracies that may occur when supplying customers and/or deliveries from suppliers/internal production
- Communicate and ensure that employees receive information on time with regards to updated timings and volumes
- Identify and solve discrepancies and deviations
- Work directly with employees to solve planning, scheduling and capacity issues (planning, engineering, production, AV, EK, shipping, logistics, installation, assembly)
- Analyze and document key information incl. but not limited to corresponding statistics / reports
- Develop measures to sustainably solve identified (and above all recurring) problems (downtime, inventory problems, insufficient planning accuracy, etc.)

Consultant requirements:
- understand processes that control a supply chain (planning, engineering, production, AV, EK, shipping, logistics, installation, installation)
- proven track record of industrial experience as project manager
- well-organized and structured "worker bee"- Well versed in MS Office - in particular Excel as well as ERP systems (SAP and/or proALPHA)
- Solid graps of production processes along with delivery and assembly goals and the ability to derive corresponding documentation (especially in the case of planning deviations)
- Robust implementation expertise
- Strong communication skills that give the consultant the ability to act as a link between suppliers, customers and workers as well as other departments within the company
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to motivate employees
- Proven experience in project management in the industrial environment (at best plant construction, project business)
- Several years of experience in optimizing processes and experience with regard to scheduling and capacity planning
