Objectives and Key Deliverables

Quad play has been seen as the holy grail for many converged telecoms players in Europe , others believe consumers do not want to buy all from one provider and there is a ceiling to demand .

BT have strategically picked the asset heavy route with the acquisition of EE , Sky are hoping for an asset "lite " approach through a potential remedy from the O2/ 3 merger or an MVNO agreement with O2UK .

The objective of this project is to compare and contrast the strategies , capabilities and performance of two operators at different end of the quad play strategic spectrum ; one which is asset heavy Telfonica SA and the other is Talk Talk which is asset lite .

Critical questions to be answered .
1. Overview / background of each business , size , scale etc and any strategic history which is relevant to the brief and look at the markets characteristics (TEF in Europe and Latam , TT in the UK )
2. What is the current strategy of each business specifically relating to quad play looking at each element individually . iE Broadband, Fixed, TV , Mobile
This needs to included all segments : consumer , sme and corporate and any wholesaling
3. Compare and contrast the strategies specifically need to understand asset ownership strategies of each and what they believe in .
4. What has been the performance of each business in quad , what do you see the success and failures
5. What could they learn from each other in the execution of their respective strategies .

We are looking for a PowerPoint presentation which covers the objectives

This project has been be finished latest Monday 2nd May noon UK time , no time extensions unfortunately so will need to be someone who had the time to complete over next few days
