We are helping our client to advice a medical device company on organization design and benchmarking project. We are looking for two things: 1) Within the medical device industry (companies with $5-10 billion in annual revenue), how many marketing headcount do these companies typically have? How many are in global marketing vs. regional marketing? 2) How are these companies' marketing organizations structured - does regional marketing report directly into global marketing? Or does regional marketing report into regional business heads? I'm not sure if you have the right info to help with this, but I would like to explore your capabilities and costs.
