Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a prestigious and fast-growing chain of international schools globally, now
looking to proactively develop digital and/or blended offerings, which can re-shape education for the 21st century.
We are looking for a research analyst (mandarin speaker) who can do market assessment of the Mandarin market. To understand the global B2C market for mandarin, especially looking for high potential segment and geographic. We are looking at 2 different type of markets, 1st is mandarin as a foreign language, 2nd is mandarin as a second language
The assessment should be outlining the key points below:
-To do desktop research in both Chinese and Western sources, to identify any kind of secondary research
-Identify the issues and challengers that facing by different segments when come to learning mandarin. For instance, children in Asia might be facing different kind of challengers as compare to the US, vice versa.
-To identify industry experts and someone we can talk to understand the challengers in the world
-Do a competitor analysis for online B2C mandarin, also identify any government initiatives anywhere in the world for this segment. For instance, any kind of government supports and campaigns
Ideally the candidate should have some experience in market research and assessment from consulting background. He/she can be junior but need to be smart enough to get things done.
This is a 5 days project initially and potential to extend and even lead to a permanent offer depending on performance.
Please note that there's some flexibility in terms of budget for really good fit.
