Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a private equity firm who are looking for a Reliability Engineer who can assist at one of our chemical manufacturing portfolio businesses in Louisiana.
We are seeking a Reliability Engineer with deep expertise in maintenance practices for asset-intense process industries.
We recently engaged a major consultancy who identified a need to transition our maintenance practices from reactive to proactive - with a goal of ultimately increasing reliability and reducing operating expenses.
We believe the project will begin with a week of data capture, followed by a couple of weeks of analysis, then a creating a plan, and if successful move on to implementation.
Applicants should have deep expertise in designing appropriate data collection and analytical tools for maintenance activities. Additionally, it would be ideal for candidates to be proficient in evaluating maintenance management systems (CMMS) as we currently operate in an SAP environment and may be interested in a transition.
We will consider candidates from any US geography if they have ability to spend most of the project time on site. Previous chemical experience is important but a candidate with strong maintenance experience in other process industries may be considered as well.
