Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a medical device manufacturer looking to bring on board a consultant to work with the Head of Product to assist in the process of winding down existing products to be replaced by newer more cost effective ones.
We will need to make trade-offs between speed and quality, and drive consensus on high-impact product decisions. There will be a strong emphasis on data and metrics to drive decision making, so you will need to hold teams accountable by exhibiting fluency in data and tying performance to established metrics that enable sales and marketing success.
Our ideal candidate will have direct experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices and leading Product Life-cycle management, specifically sunset product so has led soup to nuts strategy and execution of a product end of life plan and implementation. Experience in companies with heavy manufacturing, supply chain and distribution as this role will require you to drive cross-functional success in a global environment.
A strong communicator who can articulate the product strategy within the company, as well as articulate the value to patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals. Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, and influence the decision making process
We’ll need someone for 4 months with potential for longer and are open on the cost at this stage. Extensive travel is required, primarily to Pennsylvania.
