Background & Objectives
Our client is a Joinery and Furniture manufacturers. The
company lacks the formal business structure of most companies of its size,
Resources - there is not a specific Human Resources role.
v Marketing -
there is not a specific Marketing role with Business Development Managers
contributing to marketing.
v Strategy - the
joint managing directors highly operational management leaves little time for
strategy development. The business is currently determining a 3-5 year strategy
under the guidance of the new non-executive director.
The lack of resources in key business areas, suggests the
potential for substantial improvements in efficiencies through organisational
redesign. Therefore, the purpose of this project is to define the most effective management structure.
