Job Description: Senior Business
Development Role within MBA & Company

MBA & Company is an online
marketplace where companies are able to post projects and receive proposals
from the top 1% of professionals worldwide. Having raised over £2 million in
venture capital funding, the business is on the verge of a further large round and expanding rapidly. We are now hiring Senior
Business Development professionals to join the team. 

Role:

You will sell consultancy
services and resources to leading international clients by:

•                   
Generating leads within your target segment
through cold calling or email

•                   
Meeting in person clients to understand their
needs, and compile briefs by taking detailed notes.

•                   
Communicating the brief to the client services
team who will facilitate the shortlist of candidates

•                   
Confirming projects, ensuring client
satisfaction and developing long term corporate relationships.

•                   
Leading and developing those around you, as a key
member of the expansion team

Career Path:

You will begin work as a Business
Development Manager and have the opportunity to become a Manager of your own
sales team within 12 months based on performance.  Support offered to achieve this will include:

•                   
Mentoring from Senior Management

•                   
Formal training courses in sales (post
probation)

Experience Required:

Technical skills essential:

•                   
A proven track record in B2B Sales or
Recruitment .

•                   
Strong revenue achievement track record
required.

•                   
Experience of having worked through the full
sales cycle from lead generation to close.

•                   
A good academic record including a degree

Personal qualities:

•                   
You should have the persona and gravitas to make
a positive impact on the culture of a young and fast growing organisation. 

•                   
Leadership DNA will be fundamental as the team
develops over the next 12 to 24 months. In addition it is required you have Soft
skills to listen to clients, and understand their needs.
