Background & Objectives
We are a well-funded, early-stage healthcare start-up acting semi-autonomously within a large corporate healthcare player, with a team of 3, but access to a much broader pool of talent to draw on as we wish. We have a great vision for where we’re going with this, funding and a signed of business plan, but need to bring someone in to help us get it done. The business in question involves building a multi EU country oncology data asset working with hospitals, pharma and other key stakeholders. It’s a first, and what you’d be doing is cutting edge and frankly difficult.
We’re looking for an energetic doer who will dig in and do what’s necessary to turn the cash and strategy in to action – or help us shape it into something that does work. Tasks may vary from recruiting more staff to liaising with hospitals to building an operations plan, to understanding information governance and stuff to do with IT. This is an exciting opportunity to grow a business from 3 people into a working company.
The project will initially run for 3-4 months, with the possibility to extend to 12 months.
By the end of the project, we’re looking for something to have happened – tangible progress in the roughly right direction. More formally: make clear and positive progress on the 8 most important activities (already roughly defined) that will move us forward
