Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are trying to understand the production of polyurethane foam in the UK and Europe. We are interested in speaking to experts in this market, whether from the supplier or customer perspective as well as any intermediary converters (who take produced foam and shape it for customer requirements) to understand market trends, dynamics and drivers.
Polyurethane foam is used in a variety of end-markets which includes bedding, sofas/other soft upholstery, cars and airplanes, as well as other more technical applications such as construction, industrial filters, and consumer products such as footwear and household cleaning equipment.
At a general level we would like to improve our understanding of pricing and margin pressures in the industry, the differentiation between different polyurethane foam producers, and the key purchasing criteria for end-product manufacturers.
We are also trying to understand historic changes in the market from a relatively long-run perspective, hence ideally the experts will have been in the industry for at least 10 years.
We are interested in European markets, specifically UK, Germany, Poland and Romania.
These will be 1 hour expert calls. Instead of a daily rate, please provide your hourly rate.
