Objectives and Key Deliverables

Our client is one of the world's leading restaurant chains. They have approached us as they are looking to hire a Strategy Delivery Manager.Job Description ·         Provide robust and dynamic identification of resource gaps and requirements, using these to help shape both organisational resource planning and project prioritisation. ‘·         Oversee and coordinate / facilitate the day to day execution of the strategy across the key projects and programmes.·         Take a holistic view across all projects, programme and business as usual initiatives to support the delivery of the plan and the execution of the strategy.·         Keep the business focused on the key decisions that will deliver the business plan, ensuring correct prioritisation, required individual contributions, timeliness and clarity of communication.·         Provide regular progress updates to the Management Team and other senior stakeholders on progress, issues, decisions and successes e.g. maintain quarterly objectives and prepare materials for quarterly meetings.·         Provide independent challenge to individual projects and initiatives to ensure that meet the strategic objectives of the business.·         Proactively manage the execution and take a forward looking approach to identify potential issues and blockers before they happen to avoid slippage in the programme and value erosion.·         Responsible for the maintenance of key project documents and tools and embedding them in the business.·         Chair Project Steering Group to ensure full co-ordination and field readiness of business execution.·         Assess overall organisation effectiveness on an ongoing basis and challenge and support the business to adapt to optimise in this area.


Good grasp of the key drivers of the strategy and the strategic
objectives of the dine-in business and good read across the entire organisation
to proactively identify the potential issues and dependencies between teams.

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to manage
people across all levels of the organisation to get things done, whilst
maintaining strong relationships across the board. 

The ability to balance a highly disciplined and challenging approach
with a more supporting tone and appreciation of the complexity and ambiguity of
the turnaround will be key.

Comfortable with data and financial analysis to support the creation of
business cases and to enable the tracking of benefits and costs across the

Ability to produce appropriate presentations and communications that
articulate the key messages and issues associated with the strategy and its

Good personal organisational skills and the ability to work to

Some programme management experience would be beneficial.
