We’re a successful Online Insurance provider in UK with a recent launch into US market. We serve the needs of the small business and landlord community.
Following the launch into the US market, we are leveraging our established UK-based talents and online platform to accelerate the growth in the US market. We have a need for a Programme Manager who is able to engage senior stakeholders, build the US business-wide programme workstreams and effectively identify manage the cross-functional dependencies and risks as we work through milestones.
The person will align the functional leaders by owning the cross-functional programme (commercial, technical, product, marketing, finance, operations, people) and include internationalising an eCommerce platform, a new contact centre (modelled on UK), new supplier relationships, recruitment of staff, marketing programme etc.
Additionally the person will support cross-Atlantic alignment by engaging the UK team to help deliver discrete work packages in each workstream (in partnership with the US functional leaders).
The consultant will report to the group Chief of Staff and will have the support of three programme managers (2 based in Boston, USA; 1 Change Manager based in London) to help surface risks, unknowns and cross-roads that hinder our progress.
Preferably someone who is experienced in programme management, an excellent communicator, has had experience of launching an online business or change program and is comfortable working with senior stakeholders. An in-depth understanding of working to agile methodology is important.
The role will be based in City, London with regular travel to the US (Boston).
The duration is 6 months however the consultant will work 3 days per week.
