Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a private equity fund currently closing an acquisition in Europe and want to transform the back office post close.
The key focus for the consultant will be-
-Ability to break apart and optimize key processes (e.g., order to cash, procure to pay, record to report); requires capability to work through dependencies with tangential functions
-Drive implementation of process improvement initiatives with Portfolio Management; ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to identify changes required, implementation actions, measures of success and oversee appropriate resources
-Lead “deep dive” process improvement workshops with Portfolio Company resources to identify, scope and define efficiency opportunities with clear ROI
Your profile should be aligned to the following criteria, with particular emphasis on being able to provide a ‘technology lens’ to improve back-office processes.
-Identify appropriate technology solutions for each process improvement and optimization scenario; work with management and 3rd party experts to understand what technology will drive the most efficient change (e.g., RPA, OCR, bank interfaces, etc.)
-Needs to be hands on, dig into details, self-starter and can step out of details to see and articulate how solutions fit into the bigger picture
-Ability to digest complex problems, make recommendations and develop practical solutions and actions
-10-15+ years of professional experience, with a mix of industry and management consulting experience
-Finance and accounting experience (must have)
-Private Equity experience (advantage)
