Objectives and Key Deliverables

We are a leading airline with operations worldwide, but primarily in Europe.

Our sales strategy and organisation has largely been focused on developing sales in North America. Unfortunately resourcing issues have meant that we have been unable to fully develop sales with a number of different players in different regions: China, India, etc.

We need someone to come and join our team on an interim basis to help address this issue. You will be tasked on developing our sales strategy for various targeted markets, along with MICE and corporate sales.

Help deliver the following overall objectives of the wider project (amongst a large team):

- Develop sales strategy for each targeted market, and for MICE and corporate sales

- Develop sales push strategy for UK and DE retail in controlled distribution

- Define future organisation (set-up, headcount, roles etc.) and governance to drive increased focus and deliverables

- Strong knowledge of the airline / travel distribution landscape
- Good technical understanding (as a lot of the discussion is likely to be based on connectivity between various IT distribution / inventory / pricing / channel management systems)
- International experience

You will be expected to pull together a commercial evaluation of the various markets to help prioritise where we would focus our efforts initially
