Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are looking for a consultant who is well connected within the retail industry, capable of helping us to present to large (second tier) retailers, on the highest level, a business case for inviting Third Party Sellers to sell on their websites (Turning a retail website into a MarketPlace) and thereafter help us to manage the realization of this MarketPlace.
We are a technology company. The core business is a high value software platform that will enable Third Party Sellers (Vendors) to sell their products on the retailer’s website (Turning the retail’s website into a MarketPlace). Target market is large (second tier) retailers and other big Internet household names that are interested in following Amazon and a few others that managed to double their net income by creating a MarketPlace on their own website and under their own brand. Development is completed and the platform tried and ready.

For the retail end clients here, the idea of setting up such a marketplace on their own website is a big shift in the way of doing things. You therefore need to be very well respected in the industry in order to gain confidence with our clients. The role will be primarily selling to top leadership teams (board meetings etc)
