The Real Estate Portfolio Manager is a role in the Real Estate function designed to manage a portfolio of construction and refurbishment projects and/or commercial deals (acquisitions, disposition, lease negotiations).
The RE Portfolio Manager will be responsible for partnering with the businesses to create role-specific value on: Goal Zero, no harm no leaks; cost and capital efficiency; functional discipline and professionalism; right people and competent suppliers; continuous improvement. This role will ensure that local delivery is planned and executed in line with the strategic alignment of the business as defined by the strategy and portfolio plans for the businesses.
As part of this role, project coordination between FM and CD&P will be included;
1. Setting up the Process Note for FM projects incl. decision tree (one off),
2. Allocation of projects and resourcing in conjunction with FM leads,
3. Resource management of external provider to leverage across sites,
4. FM Project reporting with subsequent handover to the SBO Bangalore team,
5. Provide project input to FM hard services network,
6. Program management projects EMEA).
To input the EMEA portfolio plan, the RE Portfolio Manager would need to support the EMEA Portfolio Planner with data analytical activities.
The RE Portfolio Manager ensures that his/her project teams and its contractors have clear roles, responsibilities and targets that deliver clear business outcomes and ensure that the interdependencies and collaboration requirements are clear.
The RE Portfolio Manager ensures that data provided to RE systems (including REFX, Project Tracking Tool etc.) is credible, reliable, readily available, and used to generate insights to drive better decisions in RDS and RE and ensures that the RE’s activities are performed safely in line with the Group Management System and in compliance with the ORS and RE Process Model.
Deals and project activities ranging from often complex acquisition, disposition, lease and build to suit requirements and million project investments to small scale. Supervising the delivery of proceeds and operational cost savings in accordance with the RE Plan.
The company real estate portfolio is diverse and so are the commercial deals and projects that come with it.
