Objectives and Key Deliverables
We are a private investment firm currently managing a post-merger integration between several building material distribution companies.
There are currently between 10-20 sites in the North of England and Scotland that we are looking to optimise ranging from analysis of procurement, production and delivery costs, to analysis of customer segments, product profitability, etc.
These projects have various deliverables, in the form of clear analysis of facts, data and interactions with people inside and outside the company, and recommendations. The projects involve a lot of interaction with people in the companies and the PE house that owns the businesses.
We are looking for people to take ownership of these projects and carry them through to results.
The chosen candidate(s) are experienced in project management, and having had a fair amount of exposure and autonomy in projects in various companies, can learn and become effective quickly.
The successful candidate(s) are self starters and independent thinkers. They are able to work in a fast-paced environment in a team and coordinate effectively to a multitude of people to get the job done. They are also able to get stuck in quickly to understand the company and the project(s) at hand with minimal guidance. Former MMB at Engagement Manager/ Manager Level with focus in operations is ideal.
At this point the engagement is looking likely to be 2 months. However there will be ongoing needs and the opportunity for long-term engagement as we continue to acquire companies in the sector.
